Through its activities the Trees4Trees™ is at present working with 5600+ local landholders in Central Java, Indonesia to provide tree seedlings and education support which will create livelihood assets for local landholders. Through time and effective management these tree seedlings have the potential to grow into a valuable timber resource that can be sold by the tree growers for personal gain.
 
Local communities and business will benefit through increased resource availability and through employment opportunities associated with the processing of the timber into furniture for local and global distribution. Trees4Trees™ is a practical community development initiative developed by local manufacturers and distribution partners to make a positive and constructive difference in the local communities where they source the trees that are used in their products. 
 
Trees4Trees™ believe that it is important to communicate this story to the wider world and raise awareness regarding the positive work that the program is undertaking. Trees4Trees™ have developed a range of communication, marketing resources and product point of sale promotional materials to share this 'good news' story.
