In November {year}, 39 volunteers participated in the Urban Forest Project by planting {trees} trees in the Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) Bekasi. The project is initiated by Microsoft as part of its CSR program and supported by One Tree Planted.
The project aimed to rehabilitate the degraded areas around the IIC industrial area, combat pollution and lower temperatures, filter drinking water, protect against flooding and prevent soil erosion, as well as support local farmers who rely on managing farmland for their livelihood.
